Mudding is a blast and your ATV can probably handle it, but the mess can also cause some serious problems for your ATV. We here at SoCal Honda Powersports want to help you have fun without worrying, so we’ve put together a few upgrades for your ATV to help it handle mud better. Snorkel Kits

If moisture gets into the exhaust system or engine of your ATV, it can do some serious damage. A snorkel kit can help, though. These consist of extended air intakes, extended CVT inlets, and outlet exhausts to make it harder for mud and water to find its way inside. They’re not the be-all, end-all, but they’re a good first step.

Mudguard Kits

Mudguards are similar to mudflaps on a car or truck, and they’re more focused on keeping mud away from any company you might be with, rather than keeping it away from you or your machine. They typically look like plastic fender extensions which help reduce spray, and they’ll even give your ATV a tiny boost in mud protection.

Mud Tires

While your all-terrain vehicle can certainly handle all terrains, as advertised, certain upgrades can help it handle certain situations better. Mud tires are larger, creating more surface area so that they won’t sink as quickly. They’re also equipped with spaced metal lugs to help grip the mud better, but try to minimize the time you drive on harder surfaces with these equipped.
